User Settings
Here you can change all information about your account, access important data, and connect your account with other accounts from other Services.
General Section
At the very top of your User Settings, you can find the general settings for your account. Some information here is displayed publicly unless your profile is hidden.
Avatar
Next to the preview of your current avatar you have the option to upload a new avatar or remove it entierely. Note that it might take up to 60 minutes for you Avatar to update accross all pages. Usually it takes much less and is noticeably faster for other Users than yourself.
About me
Here you can optionally add a description to your Userpage. To save your changes, you must click the Save button below.
Username
After your userid, your username is the next clear idetifying property of your account. Each account must have a unique Username, meaning no two accounts can have the same username. A username must have at least 1 and no more than 32 characters, it may consist of english letters and numbers and a list of approved symbols
Language
On our website, we support localization. This allows you to view the site in your preferred language.
The email you enter here is used to contact you in case we have important information that you need to be notified about. It is also used in case you forgot your password. Should you ever change your email, you must verify it within 30 days otherwise your account faces permanent suspesion. Read more about that here.
Password
The last option you have in this section, is to change your password, you need to authorize this by entering your current password and any other authentification methodes you have set up. Due to security reasons, there is no way to view your current password. Our Staff will never ask your for your Password!
Privacy Section
In this section you can change all settings in regard to your privacy. It allows you to control how your (personal) information is being used and displayed.
Hide Profile
This option allows you to hide your Profile from other Users. When viewing your Profile page, the content will be blurred and no information will be visible. On Viewpages your Avatar and Username will still be displayed but Users will not be able to interact with it to get to your Profile page. Staff can still see your information for support and moderation actions.
Security Section
Your security is very important to us, that is why we offer a multitude of security features to improve it. Here you have the option to see and manage these security options.
Upload Key
This is the authorization for your Screenshot Program on your computer. It allows your program to authenticate itself as yourself and upload, manage, and delete screenshots, images, files, and other uploads in your respective galleries. This Key does not automatically change but you have the option to regenerate it at any time, this causes all previously authorized programs that used the old key to loose authorization. To be able to upload again, you have to update your upload key within the program. Remember to never share your Upload Key with anyone unless you want them to be able to create new uploads and manage and delete them at will. Our Staff will never ask your for your Upload Key!
Secure Upload Check
Secure Upload Check renders the Upload Key useless to anyone who happens to it for whatever reason. It requires all devices to at least have logged in once on the voided.host before it is authorized to access and modify your galleries using the upload key. Do not fully rely on this option, and still try to protect your Upload Key from being leaked
Connections Section
Connecting your Accounts from other Services to your voided.host account allows you to transfer informations from these to voided.host or gain befinits on our Services and vise-versa.
