Upload Preferences

In your Upload Preferences, you can change everything about your Uploads, from the default settings, to Share Codes, and domains you can find everything in one place.

Default Settings

In the general section, you can change the default Upload settings. These settings will be applied to all new Uploads after you saved them. They are similar to the ones in your Upload Settings.

Hide Uploader

This will hide your information from the Viewpage for other Users.

Visibility

Changing this affects who can view the Upload, and how it might be displayed on the Website. For a more detailed article on Visibility, click here.

Auto Delete

Auto delete will automatically delete the Upload after the time set relative to the time of uploading.

Randomize Filenames

By default uploads keep their orignal filename, as long as there is no other upload with the same filename. Enabling this sets said filename of each new Upload to a randomly generated string of characters.

The Share section is all about the generation of the Share Code. It is the identifying part of the Link that leads to the Uploads Viewpage. Each Share Code can only exist once, and will always lead to the same Upload until it's deleted or the Share Code changed.

Emoji Mode

This option allows you to generate Share Codes made of random emojis. When enabled, by default your Share Codes will no longer include letters, numbers, or symbols but only emojis.

Length

Here you can set the preferred length for your Share Codes. You will get the next shortest Share Code starting from your preferred length. We recommend to choose longer preferrences as it is more likely that there are still avaiable Share Codes that fit your preference.

Domain

When you use a Screenshot Program like ShareX, it returns a Upload Link that leads to the Viewpage of you Upload. In this section, you can change the structure of the Link you get in your clipboard.

Default Domain

At the very top, you can set the default domain for yourself. Depending on your other settings, this is either used as your normal domain or as a fallback, in case of issues. In the middle you can set the Domain, to the left you have the subdomain which will is placed before the domain and seperated by a dot, and to the right you have the path which is placed after the domain sperated by a slash. Example: subdomain.voided.host/path/SHARECODE

Upload Direct Link

The Upload Direct Link is the link that leads straigth to the uploaded file instead of the Viewpage. This is benifitial if you want to use voided.host on platforms that do not support embeds, as this option is supported everywhere. The drawback here is, that you obviously have no way to customize the embed as there is none.

Random Domain

This allows you to add a list of domains that will be used instead of your Default Domain. With every Upload a random domain of this list will be chosen and copied into your clipboard. This feature might not fully work on all parts of the webpage, the default domain is used as a fallback should there be an issue with the random domains.

Discord Exploit

This feature uses an exploit that only works on Discord. With this Exploit, you can send a message that appear to be pure text with the image or embed attached to the message. In reality the link is just hidden.

Hyperlink

A hyperlink can be used to embed a link within any text. For example this hyperlink leads to this section on this page.

Custom

Here you have the option to add you custom tricks you know. You can input any text, and use the {shareCode} as parameter.
